When discussing
abortion I want to make it clear that there are times that a pregnancy
must be terminated. In my lifetime I have been in contact with
several women who were carrying a child suffering from Anencephaly,
which is a fetus missing most, or all, of its head and brain.
Personally, I do not believe that a fetus in this condition, can be
considered a "person" as their is no thought process, etc.
Carrying a fetus like this to term can be very risky to the mother, and
the fetus will never become a person. |
You may be
wondering why a message on abortion is included with our series on the
occult; hopefully those well versed in the scriptures will know why, I
hope that others will be convinced when they are finished reading this.
One of the things that is concerning about abortion is that many
Christians believe it is okay, while many more say they would never have
an abortion, but they can't tell others that they should not.
Let us begin by abusing some of these false notions. First, we
will deal with one of the most egregious errors that people make when
talking about abortion and the Bible. Many abortion proponents
point to Hosea 13:16 to say that God is not against abortion:
Samaria shall bear her guilt,
because she has rebelled against her God;
they shall fall by the sword;
their little ones shall be dashed in pieces,
and their pregnant women ripped open.
Those who would attempt to use this as a justification for abortion have
completely missed what is happening. This scripture does not say
that God supports the killing of any baby, whether born or unborn, that
you choose to kill! What it does tell us is that God decided that
the wickedness of the Samaritans at that time warranted them being
completely wiped out; not even one of their unborn children should
survive to bring back the gross sins of the nation.
If you choose to attempt to use this scripture as a justification of
abortion, all you are doing is stating that you have welcomed the most
severe punishment onto yourself. To attempt to say that God does
not mind abortion due to what was stated here, is also to say that you
can kill anyone, children, adults, etc. by the same scripture. We
know this is not true! Stop pulling this out of context to try to
justify a horrible sin.
The next misconception is what we hear all the time "It's my body, and I
can do what I want with it."
No, you can't!
Almighty God, the creator of the universe also created you. As His
creation, He has given you rules to live by, but also free will because
He wants you to obey Him because you want to, not because He forced you
to. As we are told in John 1:1-5, Jesus was an aspect of God before He
came to earth as a mortal to bear our punishment; Jesus spoke everything
into existence. Throughout the entire Bible we find that murder is
one of the most horrendous sins. Whether the murdered individual
is an adult, child or fetus makes no difference.
This ties to the next false belief in that those who promote abortion
will say that it cannot be murder as the fetus in not yet a child.
This is shown to be false by many verses in the Bible; in fact, this
concept is so thoroughly debunked in scripture that a Christian would
have to be completely blinded by the Devil to believe this. Here
are a few of the verses that show that a fetus is a person:
Jeremiah 1:5
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to
the nations.
Psalm 139:16
Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your
book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me,
when as yet there was none of them.
Isaiah 49:1
Listen to me, O coastlands, and give
attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called me from the
womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.
Galatians 1:15
But when He who had set me apart before I was
born, and who called me by his grace,
Romans 8:29
For those whom he foreknew he also
predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he
might be the firstborn among many brothers.
Ephesians 1:4
Even as he chose us in Him before the
foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before
him.
These are a few of the verses in the Bible that show that God knows us
as persons before we are even conceived, and works with us while we are
in the womb. How dare a Christian have an abortion!
But how does abortion equate to an Occult experience? To have an
abortion, the following must happen.
The first step is to devalue the human life of the fetus
and make it a "thing" rather than a person. This type of human
devaluation comes straight from the Devil and is recognizable as such
when it is aimed at humans who have been birthed. Next, someone
must kill a living human. To understand this, think of it this
way: a human has two states, that being alive or dead. If
the fetus has a heartbeat, it is alive. In most cases the fetus is
then torn into pieces and removed from the womb. Again, it takes a
cold heart, sold out to Satan, to allow or perform this. There is
sanctity in human life, and this procedure has none of the honor that a
death and a funeral would have. Last, but not least, the fetus is
then thrown into a medical waste furnace to be destroyed.
Human sacrifice has been around for almost as long as humans
have existed and was practiced by most civilizations. the Aztecs
and Incas are probably the most famous from TV and movies. As far
back as the Carthiginians and the Mesopotamians, human sacrifices were
performed. Even up to 1300 AD the Hawaiian culture continued human
sacrifice. There are even occult groups today that say they
practice human sacrifice. One of the worst of these cultures was
the Canaanites, who sacrifice children to the god Moloch (Jeremiah
referred to the altars for Baal in Jeremiah 32:35-37). The
children were placed in the hands of the bronze statue, that was heated
with fire inside it, and the children burned to death. Priests
would beat drums loud enough to drown out the babies screaming, so the
child's father would not be moved to rescue it.
This bronze idol, designed to be a sacrificial altar for
babies, was located in the Valley of Hinnom, or Ben-Hinnom. It is
from the name of this valley that Gehenna, or the Lake of Fire, gets its
name. God has given the place of eternal torment the same name as
the valley where these babies were sacrificed to Moloch. Are you
starting to see the connections?
Moloch is considered a second tier god in the Canaanite
heirarchy1, and as anyone who has seriously studied the Bible
should understand, these pagan gods are not imaginary, but are in fact
Satan and his upper echelons. This means that Moloch was a high
level demon that reported directly to Satan.
Satan gains power from these acts; he gets people to act in
the most heinous ways, while destroying those people and doing the
opposite of what God would do. It is estimated that there have
been 63 million (63,000,000) abortions in the United States since the
1973 Roe vs. Wade decision. That is about equal to the population
of France. It is more than double the population of Australia.
It is about four times the population of Greece, and eight times the
population of Hong Kong. This number of abortions is double the
population of Texas, and almost double the population of California.
Satan is dancing in glee for the havoc he has wrought and the lives he
has taken
While those getting an abortion do not do so with the intent
of honoring pagan gods and Satan, the effect is the same. Whether
knowingly or unknowingly, the woman who has an abortion subjects herself
to being part of a pagan ritual and the doctor performing the abortion
is the same as the priest who places the babies in the hands of the
Moloch idol. In the end both babies burn.
In this
world, and the next, there is Godliness and ungodliness, there is
holiness and there is sin, and there is eternal life and eternal death.
The world is deluded into believing that sinful, pagan acts are right,
and that the Holiness of God is wrong. Sixty-three million babies
murdered - truly the end times are upon us!
